Snowdrop Cottage Now Open!

Snowdrop Cottage was built in 1849 and has been recently renovated to a high standard providing the mod cons to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

The cottage has one very comfortable first floor bedroom which can be laid out to offer either one super king size bed or two full sized single beds. The bedroom is equipped with a wardrobe, chest of drawers, and bedside tables with bedside lights. There is also a dressing area with a full length mirror. The bathroom has a shower over the bath, mirror and heated towel rail.

The ground floor sitting room is perfect for a cosy evening. There is an open log fire, comfortable sofa, armchair, as well as a large flat screen TV with Freeview. There is a dining area with table and chairs in the living room. A selection of games, books and information on the local area are also provided for you to enjoy. WIFI is also provided for our guests to use free of charge.

If the weather allows, why not relax in the wrap around cottage garden, where a garden table and chairs are provided on a patio area. As the garden is hedged around its border, it is not secure and therefore unsuitable for dogs.

The refurbished ground floor kitchen, which overlooks the garden, is very well equipped and includes an electric oven, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine.

Don’t worry about packing the cooking essentials as you will find some of the basics ready for you such as tea and coffee, sugar, kitchen roll and washing up liquid.
