Manton Open Gardens: 10th August 2014, 12-6pm, Entry £5. Lunch & Teas will be available, entry costs £5 in aid of Church funds.
Exton Produce & Craft Show: 10th August 2014. The show opens to public view and for home made teas from 2.30pm with the prize giving at 4pm
British Bird Watching Fair 2014: 15-17th August 2014

Puddle Cottage is a 4 star, self catering cottage within walking distance to Rutland Water, including Rutland Sailing Club and Rutland Fishing Lodge.and only 8 miles away from the market towns of Oakham, Uppingham and Stamford. The cottage has 1 bedroom which can either be presented as a super king size bed or two full size single beds. The cottage maintains its original charm, such as exposed beams, stonework and open log fire but also offers modern facilities such as a dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer and large flat screen TV with Freeview. WIFI is also available free of charge to our guests. Well behaved dogs are warmly welcomed. We do fill up very quickly for the main events in the area – availability is updated on our website constantly which you can find here.
